V. Primary Delegations of Authority

The Secretary has delegated the following authorities to the Assistant Secretary for Legislation and Congressional Affairs, subject to certain reservations:

• Authority to carry out the Congressional relations functions of the Department.
• Authority to sign Federal Register notices other than policy statements and interpretations, including notices of meetings and workshops.
