You must be designated an eligible institution before applying for funding under this program. The FY 2012 application to request designation as an eligible institution and to request a waiver of the non-federal cost share requirement is now available.

Title V, Part A, Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program - CFDA# 84.031S
The Title V, Part A, Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program will not be holding a new competition for Fiscal Year (FY) 2011. We have been granted approval to fund down our FY 2010 HSI Slate. Only applicants in FY 2010 who have applied for and received FY 2011 Designation of Eligibility and scored between 89.67 and 87.67 will be considered for funding in FY 2011. These projected scores are estimates; the Department is not bound by this estimate.
