1 Reflects a reduction of $1,808 thousand for the Department of Education's share of a rescission of $270 million, pursuant to Sections 102 and 202 of the Emergency Steel Loan Guarantee and Emergency Oil and Gas Guaranteeed Loan Act of 1999. The rescission applies to nondefense funds available to Executive Branch agencies for administrative and travel expenses.
