What's New

The Department published the Notice Inviting Applications (NIA) for the 2017 Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) program competition on April 20, 2017.

On May 8, 2017, the Department published a correction notice to extend the deadline for submission of applications to June 21, 2017.

On May 26, 2017, the Department published a correction notice to remove a duplicate selection factor under the Management Plan criterion and extend the deadline to June 23, 2017..

Program Description

The SEED grant program provides funding to increase the number of highly effective educators by supporting the implementation of evidence-based preparation, development, or enhancement opportunities for educators.
