The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is not a job placement service, but an international toll-free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with disabilities. JAN also provides information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) seeks to increase employment of persons with disabilities through policy analysis, technical assistance and development of best practices, as well as outreach, education, constituent services and promoting ODEP's mission among employers.

The Ticket to Work is a voluntary program that offers Social Security Administration disability beneficiaries greater choice in obtaining the support and services they need to help them go to work and achieve their employment goals. If you receive Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income benefits based on disability or blindness and would like to work or increase your current earnings, this program can help you get vocational rehabilitation, training, job referrals and other ongoing support and services to do so.
