Semiannual Reports to Congress
The Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, requires that the Inspector General report semiannually to the Congress on the activities of the OIG during the 6-month periods ending March 31 and September 30. These reports highlight the audits and related reports issued during the time frame, information on OIG investigations and other activities, and summary tables containing statistical data as required.
