Rob Wexler
Senior Counsel

Rob Wexler is Senior Counsel to the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Education. He assists the General Counsel and provides advice on cross-cutting education and policy issues, special projects, and strategic planning. He joined the Office of the General Counsel in 1984 and worked in the Business and Administrative Law Division until 1996.

Mr. Wexler also has worked in the White House Office of the Counsel to the President, as Counsel and a Senior Advisor to the President's Initiative for One America, and as a Senior Fellow at the National League of Cities. He graduated from Brown University and received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin.
