OCIO Technology Day March 25, 2020

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) invites you to apply for Technology Day at the U.S. Department of Education.
The event will be held March 25, 2020 at our DC headquarters.

The purpose of the event is for vendors to demonstrate the latest in tools and emerging technologies that can help advance the Department’s mission capabilities through enhanced IT automation and engineering solutions. This event is for market research purposes only and in no way obligates the Department to award any contract to any interested party.
Vendors will demonstrate their product capabilities to the Department users as aligned to the Department’s core functional areas:
Grants Management, Financial Management, Content Management, Document Management, Case Management, Complaints Tracking, Workflow Management, Data analytics, Robotics Process Automation.

Vendors selected to participate will have the opportunity to:

  • Have a table-top display to demonstrate products and capabilities
  • Conduct a product demo/presentation

Application for Event Participation:
Please submit your application by March 4th to epmo@ed.gov
Applications should include: Company Name, Contacts, Brief paragraph of your product capabilities.
No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your submission.

Selection Criteria: Vendors will be selected based on their product capabilities as aligned to the above-mentioned functional areas. Space is limited; the Department may give priority on a first come, first served basis consistent with ED’s core functional areas.
Event approval confirmation will be sent to the selected vendors by email on March 6th.

NOTICE: The Department of Education’s ”Technology-Day” is an interactive information sharing and learning event for market research purposes only and shall not be perceived as an endorsement of any Vendor product or service. The event will not be an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage through direct solicitation of contractual agreements for technologies or services. Any procurements of technologies and services in the future will be sought in accordance with the law and the guidelines stipulated in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Vendors are instructed not to provide proprietary or otherwise confidential information as part of their applications and/or presentations. The Department reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any future solicitation(s).
