Title II Reports on the Quality of Teacher Preparation and States' Requirements and Assessments for Initial Credentials (Apr 30, 2013)
Title II of the Higher Education Act requires three annual reports on the quality of teacher preparation. Schools of education report to states on the pass rates of their graduates on state certification tests. States in turn report to the U.S. Department of Education on certification and licensure of teachers. The Secretary of Education reports on these findings to the Congress.
