Project TEACH is a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the ability of history teachers (grades 5-12) in RESA III and surrounding counties to improve students' knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles, concepts, and continuing relevance of the United States Constitution. Project components include the development of 120 Teacher Leaders who will serve as resources to their schools and school districts, and the development of a model program that can be replicated throughout West Virginia and the United States. Project partners include the University of Charleston, West Virginia State College, Marshall University Graduate College, West Virginia Cultural and History Center, the West Virginia Humanities Council, RESA III Humanities Consortium, the Kanawha County Schools Cultural Diversity Cadre, and the National Council for History Education.
