In order to ensure the privacy of candidates and integrity of Fellowship selection, the application is conducted through the U.S. Department of Education’s normal hiring process which is managed through a combination of a government-wide jobs database — USAJobs and the Department’s internal hiring management systems — EDHIRES. These instructions will walk you through the application logistics.

To begin the specific application process for the Fellowship, you must first create a user account and create a Federal resume at MY USAJOBS at the USAJOBs website. Please note that this is a required step in order to access the specific application for the Teaching Ambassador Fellowship. Though information may be cut and paste from your standard resume, the formatting will be different. For tips on preparing your Federal resume, please click here: https://help.usajobs.gov/index.php/Troubleshooting_Resumes.
