In 2011, Striving Readers projects first funded in Fiscal Year 2006 submitted Implementation and Impact Studies on school years 2006-07 through 2009-10 that were completed by independent evaluators.

These impact studies:

Summarize the fidelity of implementation level attained in years 1-4
Address research questions about the impact of the targeted interventions for struggling readers on students exposed to one year of the intervention
For four sites with multi-year interventions, address research questions about the impact of the targeted interventions for struggling readers on students exposed to more than one year of the intervention
Address research questions about the impact of the targeted interventions for struggling readers on various subgroups of students
Address research questions about the impact of whole school interventions.
