These frequently asked questions (FAQs) provide guidance about the fiscal year (FY) 2010 competition of the Race to the Top Assessment program. This guidance provides ED's interpretation of various statutory provisions. It does not impose any requirements beyond those included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), the Race to the Top Assessment program notice inviting applications, and other applicable laws and regulations. In addition, it does not create or confer any rights for or on any person.
