National Comprehensive Center on Improving Literacy for Students with Disabilities
In FY2016, Congress appropriated funds to establish a National Comprehensive Center on Improving Literacy for Students with Disabilities. The center will be authorized as part of the Comprehensive Centers Program established under the Education Technical Assistance Act of 2002 and will address the needs of students at risk of not attaining full literacy skills due to a disability, including dyslexia. The Department of Education will host a webinar on June 27th, 2016 at 1:30pm EST to provide information and answer questions regarding the the Notice Inviting Applications.
