Presentations at the 2007 No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools Ceremony
Archived Information

Each year, Blue Ribbon Schools are invited to make presentations on best practices at the awards ceremony. These presentations are structured as a "professional learning experience" through which both panelists and the audience are invited to discuss the challenges of meeting the educational needs of all students in a diverse and multicultural universe.

The selected presentations below are ones that have relevance to the No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools audience. The goals of these presentations are to serve as a resource for schools and present a serious discussion about research-based or effective practices that have made a difference to Blue Ribbon Schools. These presentation materials can be used to:

  • Stimulate ideas for discussion with school planning teams;
  • Target strategies to address problems currently identified as needing improvement by the school community;
  • Prompt the school administration to contact the Blue Ribbon School presenter to learn more about the topic area; and
  • Refer others to the No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon Schools website as a resource for school improvement strategies.
