Deadline for Transmittal of Full Applications: Closed

Please note that U.S. Department of Education grant application deadline is 4:30:00 PM Washington, DC time. Late applications will not be accepted. The Department is required to enforce the established deadline to ensure fairness to all applicants. No changes or additions to an application will be accepted after the deadline date and time.

Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: 60 calendar days after the deadline date for transmittal of full applications.

Please note that the i3 Application Packages are for applicants to download and use as guides only. Unless the applicant qualifies for an exception to the electronic submission requirement, all i3 grant applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov.

i3 Development Full Application Applicant Information Sheet

The i3 Applicant Information Sheet collects additional information that will assist the Department with the peer review process. All applicants for the Development competition must complete this information sheet.

ADDITIONAL APPLICATION FORMS FOR DEVELOPMENT (FULL APPLICATION), SCALE-UP, AND VALIDATION COMPETITIONS

In addition to submitting a full application through Grants.gov, applicants may be required to complete the following forms:

  • i3 LEA Eligibility Checklist download files PDF (43KB) This is a required eligibility checklist that must be submitted by all eligible applicants applying as a LEA. Each applicant will use this form to list the page numbers where information about i3 statutory requirements can be found within the application.
  • download files PDF (43KB) This version of the LEA Eligibility Checklist is compliant with the requirements of Section 508 of The Rehabilitation Act and is accessible to people with disabilities. Please note that you cannot save a copy of this form with the data you entered.

  • i3 Partnership Eligibility Checklist download files PDF (50KB) This is a required eligibility checklist that must be submitted by all eligible applicants applying as a nonprofit organization in partnership with one or more LEAs or a consortium of schools. Each applicant will use this form to list the page numbers where information about i3 statutory requirements can be found within the application.
