Overview of the Investing In Innovation Fund (i3) grant competiton application review and selection process.

i3 applications were reviewed by independent peer reviewers in discussions that were coordinated by Department staff who served as panel monitors. All peer reviewers and panel monitors engaged in mandatory training on the i3 competition structure, priorities, and selection criteria, as well as on the requirements of their role in this unprecedented federal discretionary grant competition.
