2016 EASIE PART II WEBINARS

EASIE PART II OPENS on APRIL 11, 2016
Part II of the Formula Grant Electronic Application System for Indian Education (EASIE) is now open, as noted in the Federal Register Notice: https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-12-21/pdf/2015-32012.pdf

SY 2016-2017 Application Period
In order to apply for the SY 2016-17 grant and be considered for funding, you must complete and certify both Part I and II of the application through ESS (EDFacts Submission System). Part II of the EASIE system opened today, April 11, 2016, and must be certified no later than 8:00 p.m., ET on Friday, May 13, 2016.

Upcoming Webinars
The EDFacts Partner Support Center (PSC) will conduct three Webinars with identical content detailing the process of completing Part II. You must register for a session before attending. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the phone number and website link for joining the Webinar. The dates for the Webinars are as follows:

  • Webinar #1 was conducted on Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., ET. The PowerPoint presentation and audio recording can be found on the Indian Education Formula Grant Community website at the following link: https://easie.grads360.org/#program/easie-part-ii

    System Requirements
    Internet Explorer is the only supported browser for the EDFacts Submission System. Please do not use other browsers as you will experience invalid errors. The Formula Grant Application is submitted electronically through the EDFacts Submission System at this link: https://eden.ed.gov/Survey.

    Did You Know?

    • The PCA form is now the only required form for Part II. If applicable to your entity, the system does not allow for certification without this form.
    • Your login information from Part I remains valid for Part II. If you are not able to login, please contact the EDFacts Partner Support Center.
    • The Office of Indian Education (OIE) will begin the review process as soon as applications are certified.

    The EDFacts Partner Support Center (PSC) is available for questions between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Eastern Time except for federal holidays. Note: Extended support hours up to the midnight deadline will be available only on the closing dates listed above for Part I.
