2015 Competition

The Department published the Notice Inviting Applications(NIA) for a competition for new awards on February 23, 2015. The deadline for applications is April 24, 2015.

Please note that the OSP Application Package is for applicants to download and use as guides only. Unless the applicant qualifies for an exception to the electronic submission requirement, all OSP grant applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov. See the NIA for information about how to submit an application for the OSP competition.

Pre-Application Webinar Information

The Department will host a 2015 OSP Competition Overview Webinar on April 1, 2015 at 2:30 PM Eastern Time to provide an overview for potential applicants on the OSP and the application process. Below is the webinar access information, audio will be broadcast through your computer speakers. Feel free to submit questions prior to the webinar at DCOSP2015@ed.gov.

Notice of Intent to Apply

Each potential applicant is strongly encouraged to submit a brief e-mail to the Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP) indicating their intent to submit an application. The e-mail need not include information regarding the content of the proposed application, only the applicant’s intent to submit it. The e-mail notification should be sent to the OSP at DCOSP2015@ed.gov no later than March 25, 2015. Applicants that fail to provide this e-mail notification may still apply for funding.
