Under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) the Department has established five performance measures to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the Advanced Placement Test Fee (APTF) program. 

Indicator #1: The number of advanced placement tests taken by low-income public school students nationally. 

Indicator #2: The number of advanced placement tests taken by minority (Hispanic, Black, Native American) public school students nationally.  

Indicator #3:  The percentage of advanced placement tests passed (for AP exams score of 3-5) by low-income public school students nationally. 

Indicator #4:  The number of advanced placement tests passed (for AP exams, score of 3-5) by low-income public school students nationally. 

Indicator #5:  The cost per passage of an advanced placement test taken by a low-income public school student.
