The Individuals With Disabilities Education Act Multi-Year Individualized Education Program Demonstration Program; Notice of proposed requirements and selection criteria [OSERS] (Dec 19, 2005)
The Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services proposes requirements and selection criteria for a competition in which the Department will select up to 15 States to participate in a pilot program, the Multi-Year Individualized Education Program Demonstration Program. Comments due on or before March 6, 2006.

The Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services announces a priority under the State Program Improvement Grant Program administered by the OSERS under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended. The Assistant Secretary may use this priority for competitions in fiscal year 2002 and in later years. We take this action to focus Federal financial assistance on identified needs to improve results for children with disabilities.
