The study will determine the feasibility of oversampling the American Indian and Alaska Native student population. In addition to a standard assessment and it includes special background questionnaires for student, teacher, and school components. A 3-year clearance is requested. |

| NEILS will provide the first national picture of the experiences and outcomes of infants/toddlers in early intervention. The study will inform special education policy development and support Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measurement and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) reauthorization with data from parents, service providers, and teachers of children who received early intervention services. |
