The purpose of the DRRP Program is to plan and conduct research, demonstration projects, training, and related activities to develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technology that maximize the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with the most severe disabilities and to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act.

Notice of Proposed Information Collection Requests; American Indian Supplement to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), Field Test 2004 [IES] (Oct 16, 2003)
This study is a field test for a planned supplement to the National Assessment of Educational Progress. The study will determine the feasibility of oversampling the American Indian and Alaska Native student population. In addition to a standard assessment and it includes special background questionnaires for student, teacher, and school components. A 3-year clearance is requested.

Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request; National Early Intervention Longitudinal Study (NEILS) [OSERS] (Sep 26, 2003)
NEILS will provide the first national picture of the experiences and outcomes of infants/toddlers in early intervention. The study will inform special education policy development and support Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measurement and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) reauthorization with data from parents, service providers, and teachers of children who received early intervention services.
