American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: Centers for Independent Living Program Recovery Funds (Jun 01, 2009)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides significant new funding for the Centers for Independent Living (CILs) program authorized under Title VII, Chapter 1, Part C of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The CILs program supports non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based, cross-disability, nonresidential centers for independent living (centers) that provide an array of independent living (IL) services to individuals with significant disabilities.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: IDEA Recovery Funds for Services to Children and Youths with Disabilities (Apr 01, 2009)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) appropriates significant new funding for programs under Parts B and C of IDEA. Part B of the IDEA provides funds to state educational agencies (SEAs) and local educational agencies (LEAs) to help them ensure that children with disabilities, including children aged three through five, have access to a free appropriate public education to meet each child's unique needs and prepare him or her for further education, employment, and independent living.
