Comments are invited on a proposed priority and other application requirements under the Emergency Response and Crisis Management Grant program. The events of September 11, 2001, made schools and communities aware that schools must now plan to respond to possible terrorist attacks on campus or in the community. We propose this priority to focus on the important need of LEAs to strengthen and improve school crisis plans in coordination with community-based partners. Comment due on or before May 16, 2005.
