The adjustments for the ICR plan formula contained in this notice are effective from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007.The attachment to this notice provides updates to examples of how the calculation of the monthly ICR amount is performed, the income percentage factors, the constant multiplier chart, and charts showing sample repayment amounts.

This form is the means by which a William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program borrower (and, if married, the borrower's spouse) who chooses to repay under the Income Contingent Repayment Plan provides written consent for the Internal Revenue Service to disclose certain tax return information to the Department of Education and its agents for the purpose of calculating the borrower's monthly repayment amount. Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before January 17, 2006.

Comments are invited on a revision to an information collection. It is for the Child Care Provider Loan Forgiveness Application and the Child Care Provider Loan Forgiveness Forbearance Form. The Forgiveness Application is used to determine whether borrowers meet the eligibility requirements for Child Care Provider Loan Forgiveness Program. The Forgiveness Forbearance Form is required to fulfill program guidance that provides forbearance for child care providers. Comments are due on or before June 6, 2005.
