Objective: To reduce recidivism through life skills training and community linkages.
Procedures: (1) Case management and assessment resulting in individual inmate service plans; (2) a life skills curriculum developed and monitored by six multi-disciplinary committees; and (3) a Community Advocacy Center for inmates. Outcomes/Results/Products: A 20-percent decrease recidivism; a 20-percent increase of life skill test scores; provide 80 percent of inmates community resource information. Products: resource directory, teleconference and videos.
