Objectives: The MAP program is designed to address issues of recovery, housing, health, self-efficacy, community involvement, and long-term employment. The program emphasizes the idea that employment based on the client's skills and interests along with a fulfilling work life is the lynchpin for successful treatment of addiction and other problems.
Procedures: The project includes the following components:
Outcomes/Results/Products: The program has a series of benchmarks relating to obtaining and maintaining employment post-release. In addition, the benchmarks measure participation in the program and the effect of the program on their post-release success. A formal evaluation of the program will be designed by Harvard Medical School Division of Addiction.
