| Description

The Institute on Rehabilitation Issues (IRI) Forum is a national conference to discuss some of the important challenges facing the state-federal vocational rehabilitation (VR) program. At this year's Forum, VR professionals, university staff and consumers will come together to discuss draft publications on the following three topics:
- Investing in the Transition of Youth to Jobs
- Welfare to Work for People with Disabilities
- Using Distance Education to Improve the VR Program
Participants at the Forum attend one of the three study groups and provide recommendations for improving the publication so that it will be effective as a training and technical assistance resource to improve the skills of rehabilitation professionals, particularly individuals employed by the Public VR program.
