U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will deliver the keynote address to The Wallace Foundation's Fourth National Conference at 5:30p.m. Wednesday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, saluting school principals and the importance of quality leadership in promoting educational excellence.

Following Duncan's address, the foundation will present a one-hour PBS documentary commissioned by The Wallace Foundation, entitled, "The Principal Story."  The show chronicles the day-to-day lives of principals and their impact on students.

The Wallace Foundation, based in New York, is an independent, national organization dedicated to supporting effective practices that expand learning and enrichment opportunities for all people.
