| Charter Schools Program Non-State Educational Agencies (Non-SEA) Planning, Program Design, and Initial Implementation Grant

| This program allows individual charter schools to apply directly to the U.S. Department of Education for start-up funds. To be eligible, a charter school must be located in a state that did not participate in the SEA competition, or in a state whose application for SEA funds was denied. |
