Particiption: New Leaf, School for Change is an educational "field hospital" designed to retrieve and restore children alienated from success in the traditional classroom. We focus on students in grades 4-6 who need remediation academically and/or socially. This is our inaugural year. We seek to establish scholarships contributed by local corporations and individuals to reach out to the wider community needs. In addition to reach individual children we also extend our interest to upper level education majors who will benefit from pre-graduation experience in the highly literate, compassionate classroom.

Tutoring: Seek to establish tutoring/mentoring program with emphasis on empowering the tutor/mentor for practical, high-level functioning drawing from the university and local community. Our program for 4-6 grade students is a learn to learn deeply program that stresses the integration of reading and writing with daily remediation lessons provided.
