National Evaluation of the Even Start Family Literacy Program

"National Evaluation of the Even Start Family Literacy Program"- The U.S. Department of Education requires the services of a contractor to conduct the Congressionally Mandated Evaluation of Even Start programs. Evaluation and performance data will be collected from all local Even Start programs from 1997-98 through 2000-1. This evaluation will also include an experimental design data collection on a smaller number of projects to assess program effectiveness. Request solicitation RFP-97-015. Issue date for RFP-97-015 is May 8, 1997 with a closing date June 10, 1997. Request for copies may be made by telephone, mail, telegram, or in person. All requests shall reference RFP-97-015 and the title of the RFP. Telephone requests may only be placed to 202-708-6498. Mail or telegram requests shall be sent to the above given address. Copies may be picked up in person on issue date at the same address. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
