"National Evaluation of the Even Start Family Literacy Program"- The U.S. Department of Education requires the services of a contractor to conduct the Congressionally Mandated Evaluation of Even Start programs. Evaluation and performance data will be collected from all local Even Start programs from 1997-98 through 2000-1. This evaluation will also include an experimental design data collection on a smaller number of projects to assess program effectiveness. Request solicitation RFP-97-015. Issue date for RFP-97-015 is May 8, 1997 with a closing date June 10, 1997. Request for copies may be made by telephone, mail, telegram, or in person.
