NOTES: Starting with FY97, borrowers attending foreign institutions are shown separately. Prior to that year, these borrowers were included in other reported figures.Details may not add to totals due to rounding. Calculations are based on numbers before rounding. The loan volume reported in this table includes some loans that later may be canceled. The Stafford Unsubsidized program began in FY93 and the SLS program ended in FY94. As a result, figures for FY86 to FY94 include SLS loans, and figures for FY93 to FY00include Stafford Unsubsidized loans. Corresponds to table 10.
