The application functions include Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) processing, both paper and web-based; data matching with the Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, Selective Service, Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security for eligibility determinations; initiation of PIN numbers for electronic signatures; eligibility notifications to applicants, both paper and web-based; electronic notifications of applicant eligibility to schools and state agencies; customer support for schools and other end-users of FAFSA data and services; and provision of software products and web functionality for use by schools in interfacing with application, origination and disbursement systems, both web and pc-based.
