Program Goal: Assist migrant and seasonal farmworker students to successfully complete their first academic year of college and to continue at a post secondary education.
Objective 8.1 of 2: All CAMP students will complete their first academic year at a postsecondary institution in good standing.
Indicator 8.1.1 of 1: CAMP 1st year completion: Eighty-five percent of CAMP participants will successfully complete the first academic year of study at a postsecondary institution.

Progress: (2001) The proportion of CAMP students who have completed their 1st year of college remains high at 80% but did not increase. This was because the new grantees, who are institutions of higher education did not receive grant award notification until August which made it difficult to met or exceed the target.

Progress: (2001)The proportion of CAMP students who, after successfully completing their first year of college then continue their college education continues to remain high at 75 percent. During the 2001-2002 time period this percentage decreased slightly, by 3 percent. This was because the new grantees, who are institutions of higher education did not receive grant award notification until August which made it difficult to meet or exceed the target.
