Goal 8: To improve the capacity of Minority-Serving Institutions, that traditionally have limited resources and serve large numbers of low-income and minority students, to improve student success and to provide high quality educational opportunities for their students.
Objective 8.1 of 3: Improve the academic quality of participating Institutions.
Indicator 8.1.1 of 1: Academic Quality: The percentage of Title III and Title V project goals relating to the improvement of academic quality that are met or exceeded will increase or be maintained over time.

The percentage of project goals relating to the improvement of academic quality that have been met or exceeded.

Explanation: In order to better measure the success of these programs new GPRA indicators were developed in 2002 based on the new Annual Performance Report (APR). The APR was designed with extensive consultation with the grant community. These indicators provide program success information across the diverse types of institutions as well as across the seven different programs within this one GPRA program report. February 2003 will be the first time that data will be available for these indicators.

Frequency: Annually.
