Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Program

Goal 8: To increase employment opportunities for migrant and seasonal farmworkers who have disabilities.
Objective 1 of 1: ENSURE THAT ELIGIBLE MIGRANT AND SEASONAL FARMWORKERS WITH DISABILITIES RECEIVE VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION (VR) SERVICES AND ACHIEVE EMPLOYMENT.

Status: Unable to judge. No FY 2001 data available. FY 1998 data from the 14 projects indicate that more than 9,200 migrant and seasonal farmworkers were served through direct and outreach services.

Explanation: Future data will be uniformly collected through the R-911 report and will be used to establish baseline. FY 2002 will be the first year of collection on this element. Data will be available Spring FY 2003.

Explanation: Actual 1996 data shown were obtained through R-911 before changes were made on the R-911 and may include some individuals served through projects. Future data will be uniformly collected through the R-911 report and will be used to establish baseline. FY 2002 will be the first year of collection on this element. Data will be available Spring FY 2003.
