Underground Railroad Program

Explanation: On January 19, 2001, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (OH) launched its web page which will act as a clearinghouse for the documentation of the Underground Railroad in America. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has identified 20 Freedom Station affiliates. Work has begun with several museums to digitize archives.
