Kyle C. Flood serves as Deputy Chief of Staff to the General Counsel. In this role, Mr. Flood provides operations, personnel, and office management support to the Office of the General Counsel. Mr. Flood also supports senior staff regarding special projects, initiatives, and programs. Prior to this position, Mr. Flood served as Confidential Assistant to the General Counsel from 2011-2014.

Prior to joining the Department, Mr. Flood served as Program Associate at the Environmental Defense Fund. In this role, he worked with the Strategic Partners Program and Political Action Committee. Mr. Flood also previously served The White House, Office of Presidential Personnel, and completed a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA at The Points of Light Institute/HandsOn Network in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Flood is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and a graduate of Indianapolis Public Schools. He holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University and is currently pursuing an M.P.A. degree from American University, School of Public Affairs.
