Addressing the Risk of Violent Behavior in Youths

New Addressing the Risk of Violent Behavior in Youth: Know the Signs of Youth Violence and How to Identify and Reduce Risk in Schools will help teachers and school personnel identify behaviors and other signs that could result in youth violence. This material is intended as a general guide regarding what is known about risk and protective factors and the warning signs that are associated with a risk of violent behavior.

Upcoming FY 2019 Grant Competitions

The Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) program is authorized under Sections 2222-2225 of the ESEA. The purpose of the CLSD discretionary grants is to create a comprehensive literacy program to advance literacy skills, including pre- literacy skills, reading, and writing, for children from birth through grade 12, with an emphasis on disadvantaged children, including children living in poverty, English learners, and children with disabilities.
