Window Rock, AZ Consultation

The U.S. Department of Education will participate in a consultation with regional Tribal Leaders in Window Rock, Arizona on June 30, 2010. This consultation will be hosted by the Navajo Nation at the Education Center of the Department of Diné Education.

Senior officials from the U.S. Department of Education will be seeking feedback from Tribal Officials on the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the Department's Plan of Actions for Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribal Governments, and any other federal education initiatives that impact American Indian and Alaska Native students.
