Puyallup, WA Consultation

The Department of Education will participate in a consultation with regional Tribal Leaders in Puyallup, Washington on July 15, 2010. This consultation will be hosted by the Puyallup Tribe at Chief Leschi School.

Senior officials from the Department will be seeking feedback from Tribal Leaders on the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the Department's Plan of Actions for Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribal Governments, and any other federal education initiatives that impact American Indian and Alaska Native students.
