The School Turnaround Community of Practice (ST CoP) launched three inaugural working groups during the convening of the School Turnaround Leads in February 2012.Their purpose is to build collaborative solutions on topics that States have identified as high impact or timely. These groups include: Developing Turnaround Principal Academies/Pipelines, Recruiting and Managing Third-Party Providers, and Labor-Management Collaboration in Persistently Low-Achieving Schools. Each working group has engaged in conference calls and webinars to share strategies.
