Register here. Scientists from two NASA Earth science missions will address how their synergistic research helps us to understand Earth's water cycle, including extreme events such as floods. This presentation will use a free online concept mapping tool for exploring the water cycle. The concept maps presented are loaded with educational assets - including images, videos, news items - that webinar participants can use in their own educational practices, presentations or for their own learning. Participants will also learn how to create their own concept maps.

The webinar will begin with what school IPM is, why it is important, how to implement IPM and where and when to utilize IPM practices. A discussion of how to monitor for pests and its importance, pest exclusionary practices, and details regarding sanitation and maintenance of waste and recycling areas will ensue. This will be followed by a discussion of the most pest challenges area in schools – the kitchens/cafeterias.
