The Advisory Committee seeks interns and/or staff members in the policy research area at both the entry and senior levels to assist with congressionally requested studies related to the impact of federal student assistance programs on college access and persistence. Candidates who have a strong background and interest in higher education policy, financial aid, and college access and persistence are encouraged to apply.
Preferred qualifications include a background in educational policy, particularly policies related to access and financial aid, understanding of the federal legislative and regulatory process, knowledge of federal, state, and institutional need-based student aid programs, strong research and analytic skills, and familiarity with SPSS and statistical software packages.
